Terms & Conditions – Fleck Publisher

Welcome to Fleck Publisher. These terms are our official agreement with you. Please read them carefully, as they explain your rights and responsibilities when using our services.

1. Who We Are

Fleck Publisher is a subsidiary of Grayscale Enterprise. We are your partners in creating and promoting your book.

2. Our Agreement with You

By using our website or services, you agree to these terms.

All our work together starts with a signed contract. This contract will detail exactly what we will do for you, the timeline, and the price.

This contract, along with a mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to protect your ideas, forms our complete agreement.

3. Your Age and Eligibility

You must be old enough to enter into a legal contract in your country to use our services.

4. What We Do (Our Services)

We offer a full range of services to help you with your book, including:

  • Coaching and ghostwriting
  • Editing and proofreading
  • Cover design, formatting, and illustrations
  • Help publishing (e.g., on Amazon KDP)
  • Marketing, PR, and organizing book launch events
  • Audiobook production and book trailers

Services can be booked as a one-time project, a package, or an ongoing retainer.

5. Who Owns the Work?

You do! You retain full ownership of everything we create for you—the manuscript, designs, and the final published book.

Fleck Publisher does not claim to be the author, and we do not ask for any publishing rights or royalties from your book sales.

We love to show off our work. However, we will only use your project in our portfolio or for marketing if you give us your explicit, written permission.

6. Your Responsibilities

To help us do our best work for you, we need you to:

  • Provide clear instructions and any materials we need to start
  • Give us your feedback and approvals within the timelines we agree on

Please note: If we don’t hear from you for a long time (as specified in our contract), we may have to pause or close your project. Fees may apply to reactivate a closed project.

7. Revisions and Changes

We want you to be thrilled with the final product. The number of revision rounds included will be clearly stated in your contract.

Please request any revisions within the specific number of days agreed upon in your contract after receiving the files.

8. Our Refund Policy

We believe in fair and clear policies.

  • Before Work Starts: Eligible for full or partial refund if canceled before work begins.
  • After Work Starts: Generally, no refunds once project work has begun.
  • After Publishing: No refunds after publication, as agreed in contract.
  • Incomplete Delivery: If final work does not meet agreed specs, we will revise or find a fair solution, possibly including a partial refund.
  • Delays: Refunds for delays are case-by-case. We are not responsible for client-side delays.

9. Payment Terms

We require payment upfront or in milestone installments, as agreed in your contract.

We will begin work only after we have received the first payment.

10. Legal Stuff

The laws of our operating jurisdiction will govern any legal matters.

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. If we make any major changes, we will inform you.

11. Your Privacy

We respect your privacy. How we handle your personal information and project data is explained in detail in our separate Privacy Policy.
